Chloe Mattheis Senior 2012

Image

My little dove, Chloe is finally a senior. It is funny, I totally thought that she was a senior (for a second) last year when I did her photo shoot in the fall of 2010! Well, this was her senior (for reals) photo shoot :) She has been quite the visitor to Anchorage so we were lucky enough to sneak a session in. I am always pleased to share photos of such a lovely young lady. Good luck Chloe as you will do great in whatever you do! Love you :)

New milestone for Pauline.

Since I have been in Anchorage, I have had the pleasure of photographing new friends in a new place. I tell you what, I am normally trudging my clients through snow, water, ice, mud or tundra for my shots, but I have been put out of my element in the city. I took a liking though, it’s different, but adventurous and a whole new look! I apologize for neglecting my blog, this doesn’t mean I have been neglecting my clients because that has consumed all of my down time. Enjoy these images of sweet Pauline, a new friend of mine. She is graduating from UAA with her bachelor’s degree and she deserves all of the credit she can get. Congratulations Pauline!!!

White Christmas

Meet Andy, Prissilla and their beautiful family. I was excited when my fellow classmate, Prissilla asked me to do her family Christmas pictures. I had some time and made it happen! We had a slight delay due to weather, but the very next day painted a perfect picture. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did!

Family Matters.

So Neva totally had to jump into this photo shoot with her cousins, Mason and Mikel. It was 3pm and still hadn’t taken her nap, but that didn’t stop her from getting in front of the camera after throwing a fit because her cookie from aunty had fallen on the ground. This was a very quick session for the Johnson’s. They turned out pretty good if you ask me :)

Sharai Ruf.

The moment I saw this pretty little flower, Sharai, I knew I had to take her photo. I didn’t know anything about her, just that I needed to get her in front of my lens even just for a few minutes. Well, as time went by, we got to know each other and I demanded her time (in a nice way) :) . She agreed without hesitation. The snow fell and gave me an amazing canvas to paint my pretty Sharai into the picture. I hope you enjoy this preview as much as I do!

Let it snow.

It’s been awhile since Charlotte got in front of my lens, so I snatched her today for a bit :) It was so beautiful outside with the fresh snow, we couldn’t just stay inside.

Mr. Wyatt.

I think it took about the third time of rescheduling my photo shoot with Jenelle to finally capture her new bundle of joy, Wyatt. The weather hasn’t been in our favor until this weekend. The day we planned for this session was actually the first day of snow for Anchorage! It was almost as if it was meant to be. The white snow easily covered all of the dead, brown left overs of fall. And being that Wyatt’s dad, Bub and his side of the family is in the aviation field, we thought that the Aviation Museum would best suit this photo shoot! Little Wyatt couldn’t have been more cooperative than he was. He slept through the entire thing and played well as our little puppet :) enjoy Jenelle, Bub and little Wyatt.
